Your own children's story as a video – step by step

Step 1: Prepare text

Remove stage directions, asterisks, and emojis. Write dialogues in the form Name: Sentence, so it's clear who is speaking. Everything that is not spoken belongs on a separate line as a description.

Step 2: Use Script Mode

In CartoonStory AI, besides "Idea", there is Script Mode. This mode takes your text one-to-one and does not reinvent it – only the scene splitting and image descriptions are generated automatically.

Step 3: Check scenes

After splitting, you'll see each scene with duration, dialogue, and image description. Shorten overly long scenes and prefer to split them – short shots appear more lively and are technically more stable.

Step 4: Assign voices

Assign a fixed voice to each character so it sounds consistent throughout the film. For the narrator, a calm, slightly deeper voice that differs from the characters is suitable.

Step 5: Render and check

Watch the finished video completely and pay attention to three things: Do the characters speak one after another instead of simultaneously? Is the music quieter than the voices? Does the length match the children's attention span?

Step 6: Share

For family and friends, the public link with a preview image is sufficient. For TikTok, Reels, or Shorts, also export in portrait format 9:16.
