Describe the character instead of uploading

Describe a cartoon character that resembles your child: hair color and length, favorite clothing, a distinguishing feature like glasses or a cuddly toy. This is more privacy-friendly than a photo and, from experience, delivers more consistent results.

A story that fits the child

• Currently facing a fear? A story where the character overcomes exactly that.
• New sibling? A story about sharing and sticking together.
• Moving or starting daycare? A story about the first day in a new place.

One sentence is enough as a prompt: “Lina is afraid to go into the water and learns to swim with a brave fish.”

The Right Length

For the first film: 30 to 60 seconds. Children watch short stories multiple times – that's more valuable than a long film watched only once. Later, you can reuse the same character in longer episodes.

Set names and voice

The character's name should appear multiple times in the dialogue – that's the moment when children perk up. Choose a voice that matches their age and keep it consistent for all subsequent films.

Use as a gift

For birthdays, Christmas, or as a bedtime ritual: The finished film can be downloaded or shared via a link – privately if desired, without a public gallery.

What to look out for

Avoid real last names, addresses, or daycare names in the dialogue if you plan to share the film. For private use, there's no objection – but for a public link, it's better to keep it general.
